A skilled team of physical, speech and occupational therapists evaluates the needs of each resident and, in conjunction with the resident’s family and attending Physician, designs an outcome-oriented treatment program.

- Occupational Therapy
Respite Stay
Taking care of a loved one but need to take time away?
Many Families call us annually for Respite Services for a family member. Respite Care is a short stay (5-7 days) where a resident will stay with us for basic medical needs, like grooming, bathing, and medication management. Families often use this type of care when they take family vacations, have an emergency where they must travel, or to try out our facility on a trial basis to see if it is a good match for the resident.

Our 36 bed Sub-acute unit offers care to the patients who no longer require hospital acute care but require more intensive licensed skilled nursing care. Our unit accepts tracheostomy, ventilator dependent residents, acute stroke, and patients for rehabilitation.
Our dedicated interdisciplinary team provides comprehensive, compassionate care that considers the individual needs of every patient. We pride ourselves in offering a warm and spiritually fulfilling environment.

Colonial Care Center’s 75 bed secured unit provides specialized care to seniors with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory disorders.
